Belle's Book Club
led by Michelle Grajeda
Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 3pm to 5pm
There is no author we would rather spend our holidays with than the immortal Jane Austen, and no heroine whose wit we would rather revel in than that of Elizabeth Bennet. This December, join us for our annual classics edition of Belle's Book Club, featuring Jane Austen's beloved 1813 novel, Pride & Prejudice. Our discussion will focus on Austen as a bit more rebellious (dare we say radical?) than she may appear upon first read.
All who are 18 or older may join us in a lively discussion of Pride & Prejudice, through lenses of class and feminism. Shortly after registration, participants will receive a set of guided reading questions with a suggested reading schedule and recommended resources. Along with compelling discussion, participants may expect curated goodies to complement the novel's themes.
On the day of book club, they will receive a swag bag full of goodies apt for the theme of the book and book lovers alike. For novel purchases, may we suggest ordering from Nowhere Bookshop or visiting your local Barnes & Noble.
Workshop Includes:
- Book club swag
- Reading Guide
- Materials for activities
Each event or workshop is hosted in the Belle & Union San Antonio shop and studio, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. Recommended for ages 16 and up. All sales are final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel the event if a minimum number of seats is not sold.
While we love your littles, please note our workshop space is limited and only for ticketed participants. We appreciate your understanding and respect for creating an intentional environment for all attendees.
