Journaling through the Seasons: Setting Intentions with Hope 01/13/24
Saturday, January 13th, 2024
from 11am to 1pm
with Michelle Grajeda
Start the new year off intentionally and with hope! Participants in this two-hour workshop will foster a greater understanding and appreciation of journaling as a personal practice. In this session, we will prepare to journal with hope, as well as to discover and begin setting our intentions for a new year.
We will practice writing with hope, using prompts gleaned from Megan C. Hayes’ Write Yourself Happy: The Art of Positive Journalling, as well as original prompts from my own writing curriculum. During this hands-on workshop, we will begin setting our intentions for a new season, through the act of collaging and responding to visual prompts. Materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring any items they may wish to use in their personal collages, such as postcards, maps, photos, magazines, letters--and any other objects that may enrich their collage and inspire hope.
Materials provided include:
Journals for visual and written responses
A custom pencil
Class appropriate handouts
Collaging materials and visual prompts
This session is for those who attended our previous Journaling through the Seasons workshops, as well as those who will join us for the first time! Any who wish to begin or to continue their journaling practice should attend. All are welcome to our community of discovery and reflection. (Recommended for ages 18 and older.)
Each workshop is hosted in the Belle & Union San Antonio shop and studio, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited for each workshop, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. All workshop sales are final and non-refundable.
